Wash, boil, peel and strain potatoes while hot. Knead quickly with the remaining ingredients to form a smooth dough. Work the dough into a roll and then cut off pieces approx. 2 cm thick and press them into thin spots by hand.
Put the potato stains in a coated pan and fry without adding any fat.
Best to eat straight away from the stove with butter and salt on top.
My grandma always made the potato stains directly on the stove top of the wood stove.
