Instructions

  1. Peel and roughly grate potatoes, peel and roughly grate kohlrabi.
  2. Roast the chopped onion in butter until golden brown and then mix well with the potatoes, kohlrabi, cheese, sunflower seeds, parsley, garlic, eggs, breadcrumbs, nuts and spices.
  3. Take enough of the mixture with a damp hand that you can shape a loaf - the mass is very soft - put it in the oat flakes and roll it all around, if necessary re-shape, put it in the fat with a spatula and flatten it a little (the loafs shouldn`t too thick) and bake out at not too high a heat.
  4. Herb sauce:
  5. Heat the cream or creme fraiche and mix with all the other ingredients - do not boil!
  6. Serve the finished Laiberl with the herb sauce, which goes well with, for example, lettuce and / or vegetables such as carrots or broccoli.
