Cook the potatoes in salted water until cooked. Hard boil the eggs. Peel and slice the potatoes and eggs. Mix the sour cream.
Pour some oil into a tall, microwave-safe bowl. Put half of the potatoes in the bowl so that the bottom is covered. Spread half of the eggs on top. Put a layer of sour cream on top and add a little salt. Top with a layer of potatoes and eggs. Finish with a layer of sour cream. Maybe add a little salt.
Cook in the microwave at approx. 500 watts for approx. 15 minutes. The sour cream can be a bit brown.
