Instructions

  1. First put the low-fat quark in a large breakfast bowl. Now add the protein powder. (My favorites from XXL Nutrition Whey Delicious: wild berries, strawberries and peach-mango. I haven`t tried any other supplier so far and I look forward to further recommendations.)
  2. Now add a little milk or water, depending on the creaminess you want, and mix everything together. The low-fat quark is now comparatively more like a yogurt. If you like it a little more spicy, like me, add a little bit of salt, for me that`s about the tip of a knife. For fruity whey protein varieties, I also recommend adding a little lemon juice, depending on your taste and preference. For me, that`s about a small teaspoon. Stir everything.
  3. Take raspberries out of the freezer as a topping. A berry mix or other frozen fruits are just as suitable, which is particularly pleasant on hot summer days. Of course, you can also take fruit from the fresh food counter.
  4. Finally add some chia seeds and stir the quark a little. With frozen fruits you should now let the quark mixture stand for a while until the fruits have thawed sufficiently.
  5. Tips:
  6. I also like to drink a shake with the quark. For this I also take 15 g of whey protein and mix this with about 250 ml of water or milk.
  7. If you want to take the quark mixture with you to work, I recommend putting everything in a tight food storage container, e.g., to stir with clip and close closure. I mix the quark the night before and leave it in the fridge overnight. The next morning I add the frozen fruits and chia seeds. So you have something fresh for a hot summer day in the office.
