Bring the water to the boil, then take it off the stove. Stir in the oat flakes and leave to swell for about 2 minutes.
Now slowly add the pudding powder while stirring and put the pot back on the stove. Simmer on a medium flame for about 10 minutes. Don`t forget to stir!
After the 10 minutes, the mass should have become thick. Add the natural yoghurt and sweeten your pudding oats to taste. I like to add bitter almond or vanilla aroma, of course you can do that to taste.
Now put the mixture in a container, let it cool down and then preferably put it in the fridge overnight. And the next morning you have a delicious porridge, which has a pudding consistency and also tastes like pudding.
Tip for extra volume: after adding the natural yoghurt, you can also stir in a stiff egg white.
Warning: It`s going to be a huge serving, so if you`re hungry caterpillars like me, this recipe is perfect.
