A recipe is not even a recipe, but notes in the margins … Caramelize peeled apples and bake them in puff pastry. And from the remaining caramel, make a caramel sauce.
Prepare caramel from 30 grams of butter and a third of a glass of sugar.
Cut the apples in half, peel and seed.
Bathe halves of apples in caramel, add a little lemon juice. Turn apples into caramel periodically.
Turn on the oven. Cut the dough into four parts (two per serving).
Put the dough on a baking sheet (on parchment).
Place the caramelized apples on a puff pastry sheet.
Cover with another sheet of dough. The top sheet can be cut figuratively (for example, as shown in the video). Bake until golden brown in a preheated oven at 180 degrees (in my oven this is about 15 minutes).
Meanwhile, add 100 g of heavy cream to the caramel, stir, bring to a boil and immediately remove from heat.
Serve the dessert with cooked caramel sauce. You can decorate with fresh mint, strawberries, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Also, for my taste, vanilla ice cream goes well with dessert.
