If you want to please your family with an original and tasty appetizer, I bring to your attention an interesting recipe. Wicker “hot dogs” made of puff pastry, with melted cheese and tomatoes, are not only beautiful, but also very tasty. These hot dogs are perfect with a cup of aromatic tea or coffee. Be sure to take note of the recipe, because cooking such hot dogs is easy!
Prepare all products according to the list. It is best to remove the puff pastry from the refrigerator beforehand to defrost it.
Wash the tomatoes, dry and cut into small cubes.
Rinse the parsley, dry and chop finely with a knife.
Grate the processed cheese on a fine grater.
In a bowl, combine melted cheese, tomatoes and herbs. Add mayonnaise, salt and pepper to taste.
Mix.
Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 4 rectangles. Cut each rectangle into 6 strips, but not until the end is 1-1.5 cm.
Braid two braids from the strips and fasten them together so that you get something like a basket. Do the same with all the blanks.
Put the pigtails on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil. Put a sausage in each basket and slightly “drown” it in the dough.
Spread the mixture of cheese and tomatoes on top of the sausages.
Next, cover each piece with a plate of hard cheese.
Bake hot dogs in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 25-30 minutes. If desired, after 10 minutes of baking, the workpieces can be greased with yolk.
