Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in the pan, add the onion and fry until translucent. Add the thawed raw spinach (without bubbles!) And steam for a few moments. If the spinach drains too much liquid, drain it, add the cheese and a whisked egg and mix everything well.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into squares, about 10 x 10 cm - but any other shape is also possible if you don`t necessarily want triangles at the end. Fill with the spinach mixture, fold into triangles, brush with a whisked egg and put it in the oven. Bake in the fan oven at 175 ° C for about 20 minutes, or until the triangles are golden yellow.
  3. The triangles are easy to prepare, I baked about 5 packs of puff pastry for my birthday, but prepared the filling some time beforehand and put it in the cold. Then just cut the puff pastry to size, fill and brush it and put it in the preheated oven. Frugal cooks still have enough filling left over for more puff pastry triangles, so the amount for the spinach mixture can also be halved. I`m not a fan of spinach, but my guests think the triangles are sensational.
