Prepare products according to the tongue recipe. Turn on the oven.
Unroll the thawed dough and roll it out to a thickness of about 1 cm. Cut out the tongue blanks with a suitable shape or glass.
Beat the egg with a mixer or whisk.
Sprinkle a baking sheet with water. Put the blanks on a baking sheet moistened with water, grease with a beaten egg on top and sprinkle with granulated sugar. Put in a hot oven (200-220 degrees) and bake tongue puffs until browning (about 15 minutes).
The tongue puffs are ready. You can place them in a wicker dish or cookie cutter before serving.
