Chop all ingredients except for the cinnamon stick (best finely chop in the Quickchef, this is quickest), mix with the preserving sugar and the spices in a saucepan and cook for 5 minutes longer according to the instructions. Stick with it and always stir well so that nothing burns! Fish the cinnamon stick out again, then fill it into clean twist-off glasses, close tightly and turn it upside down.
