Pumpkin bagels are bright, warm and truly homemade baked goods. It is also a way to “utilize” pumpkin, and an opportunity to feed children with healthy vegetables.
Pour warm water over yeast and sugar. After a couple of minutes add the pumpkin puree and flour.
Knead an elastic dough. Leave the dough in a warm place for an hour.
Divide the dough into several pieces. Shape them into sausages and twist them into rings.
Fry the rings in boiling oil until golden brown.
Then brush the bagels with a beaten egg and place in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 degrees. Brush the finished bagels with butter or honey before serving.
