Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large saucepan and fry the chicken in it. Season with salt and pepper, remove from the pot and keep warm.
Add 1 more tablespoon of oil to the saucepan and heat; Fry the onion, garlic and chilli in it. Add paprika and pumpkin and fry lightly. Add the curry powder and meat and stir in the coconut milk. Let simmer for about 45 minutes. Keep adding water as needed. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
