Instructions

  1. Cover the bottom of the pan with the sugar, carefully pour 2/3 of the milk. Mix in the rest of the pudding powder and when the milk is boiling, remove the saucepan from the stove, stir in and bring to the boil again while stirring. I put the sugar in the pot first because then the milk won`t burn so easily, but you can of course also prepare the pudding as it says on the package.
  2. Stir the vanilla sugar into the warm pudding.
  3. Roast the pumpkin seeds in the pan without fat, do not let them turn black. Chop in the blender until there are no more pieces in it. That`s not bad, but they like to get caught in their teeth and not everyone likes to chew on the liqueur. It should look like ground hazelnuts or almonds from the package. You can`t do that with a magic wand.
  4. Mix in the ground pumpkin seeds and pumpkin seed oil. Let cool and stir in the alcohol.
  5. Fill into bottles and refrigerate. Let it steep for 1-2 days, then it tastes rounder, but it can also be drunk straight away.
  6. If you are looking for a drink for the next Halloween party that looks poisonous but tastes super delicious and doesn`t cause a headache, this is exactly the right thing.
  7. The recipe makes about 1 liter of liqueur.
