Instructions

  1. Peel and grate the potatoes from the day before and process into a dough with quark, flour, sugar, egg and spices. The dough must not be damp, otherwise add a little flour. Finally, work in the raisins and either shape the dough into a roll and cut into slices or make small flat buffers by hand and fry in hot fat. Do not fry the quark pods on the highest setting, because they will brown too quickly and are not yet done inside.
  2. We also have applesauce.
  3. Instead of sugar and raisins, you can also use salami and diced bacon, then they are hearty quark legs.
