First cook the pudding according to the package instructions and set aside so that it cools down a little. Stir in the poppy seeds and stir frequently.
Mix the ingredients for the dough (quark, milk, oil, sugar and vanilla sugar) in a bowl. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir half of it into the dough, knead in the rest by hand. Then preheat the oven to 150 ° C (gas mark 2).
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured work surface and cut out circles with a glass (slightly larger diameter). Place the dough circles on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and fold in on all 3 sides towards the center, so that a small mold is created. Then pour a dollop of poppy seed and vanilla pudding into each mold.
Whisk the egg yolk with 1 tablespoon of milk and brush the pieces with it. Place in the oven, which is already hot, and bake until golden. Let cool down on the wire rack and ideally enjoy while still lukewarm.
