Instructions

  1. First, finely chop the sponge fingers, the easiest way to do this is with a heavy object such as a schnitzel beater. It is best to tear open the pack only afterwards. Alternatively, you can use a food processor if you have one. Pass the crumbs through a fine sieve and crush the crumbs again until they fall through the sieve.
  2. Mix together the soft butter, powdered sugar, cream cheese and vanilla sugar. Add the biscuit crumbs and knead into a dough. Shape it into about 40 small balls. If you make the balls too big, they will later become too heavy for the skewers. Chill in the refrigerator for about an hour.
  3. Now the cake pops can be skewered on cake pop sticks or shortened kebab skewers and decorated with chocolate, sugar sprinkles or the like.
  4. You don`t need a special stand, the finished cake pops can also be placed in a glass. Let it steep in the refrigerator overnight.
