Cut the pickles into slices. Cut the onion into half rings.
Place the sausages on the grill and grill until they are nicely brown (takes about three minutes on each side). When they have the desired tan, remove them from the grill, let cool down a little and cut into thin slices.
Put the cucumber water, salt, pepper, sugar, vinegar and the olive oil in a large bowl and mix together. Add the sausages, pickles and the onion to the bowl and mix everything well.
