Cut the onions into small cubes and the sausages into small slices and place them in a small saucepan with the rest of the ingredients. Now add the water, about 250 ml, so that it is just visible at the edge. Cover and bring to the boil once on a high level and then switch off the stove (switch to a low level for induction).
