Briefly scald 600 g peaches with boiling water. Then peel, stone, cut into quarters. Alternatively, drain a can of peaches well and quarter them as well.
Mix 100 g butter, 50 g sugar, 1 sachet vanilla sugar and 3 egg yolks until frothy. Gradually add the flour and baking powder and make a batter. Beat 3 egg whites with the remaining sugar until firm and fold carefully into the dough.
Pour the dough into a greased springform pan sprinkled with breadcrumbs. Spread the peaches on the batter (they will sink in).
Bake in the preheated oven for approx. 60 minutes at 180 ° C - 200 ° C.
Finally sprinkle a little powdered sugar over the top if you like.
