To prepare, finely chop the clove of garlic and the onion and cut the bell pepper, the peeled tomatoes and the chilli pepper as small as possible. Tip: chop the tomatoes in the can with scissors, this saves a mess on the board.
Heat the olive oil in a saucepan and sweat the onion and garlic until translucent, then add the peppers and sauté a little before adding the tomatoes. Add the chilli, sugar, vinegar and paprika powder and season with salt and pepper. Reduce to the desired consistency.
Of course, you can still puree the sauce with the hand blender afterwards. There is also no need to carefully chop the ingredients and it makes the entire production process even easier and faster.
