- Mix together the grated potatoes, flour and eggs. Then add water so that the porridge falls slowly from the spoon.
- Using a teaspoon, add a little porridge piece by piece to boiling salted water and cook for about 20 minutes.
- Boil the diced potatoes, not too soft.
- Sear the bacon in butter, then add the boiled potatoes, `dumplings` and quark and season with salt. The consistency can be changed by adding milk.
