Wash the quinoa. Bring 200 ml of water to the boil in a small saucepan and add the quinoa. With the lid closed, simmer the quinoa over high heat until it is cooked through. This takes about 15 minutes. Stir in between.
Now add the oat flakes and the remaining 200 ml of water on a low flame and stir well. Simmer slowly until the oatmeal is nice and soft and the porridge is creamy.
Add sweeteners and spices to taste.
Served with fresh fruits, nuts, grains, almond butter and maple syrup incredibly delicious.
