Instructions

  1. Cut all the raclette ingredients and arrange them in small bowls. Brush the raclette pans and the grill with a little oil and preheat.
  2. We roast the meat on top of the grill (except for the black pudding, if you want, you can pour off some fat from the pan), as well as zucchini and mushrooms.
  3. I use raclette cheese as cheese (Edam cheese, sheep`s cheese or good-melting, lean grated cheese are also or additionally possible).
  4. And then it starts with e.g., Potatoes with meat loaf, peppers, olives and cheese or meatballs with potatoes, grilled zucchini, braised tomatoes and sheep cheese or potatoes with pork tenderloin, mushrooms and cheese. There is something for every taste! A vegetarian option is also possible.
  5. And I especially like to rub some nutmeg over the cheese.
  6. Tips: Leftovers can easily be processed into a large raclette pan the next day. To do this, fry the potatoes in a little oil, then add the vegetables and meat and fry with them. Baked with cheese in an ovenproof pan in a hot oven.
  7. As a side dish, I make salads, e.g. apple-carrot salad, apple-beetroot salad or mixed salad, celery salad made from boiled celery on lamb`s lettuce or Waldorf salad, etc. You can stick to the salads if you don`t want to eat too much meat and raclette cheese are they beautiful in color.
  8. Cozy grilling with family or friends, especially on Christmas or New Year`s Eve.
