Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, sugar and vanilla sugar in a mixing bowl. Lightly whisk the eggs and add to the dry ingredients together with the milk and oil. Mix everything with a whisk to a smooth and thick dough. Pour the dough into a prepared box or springform pan and smooth it out.
  2. Put the mold in the preheated oven at 185 ° C and bake on the second rack from the bottom for 30 to 35 minutes.
  3. A variant for nut cakes: Fold an additional 100 g of ground nuts into the dough. Finally, cover with nougat if necessary.
  4. A variant for chocolate cake: add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder to the solid ingredients at the beginning and mix in. Finally stir 75 g of chocolate chips into the finished dough. After baking, the cake can be covered with a chocolate icing and decorated as you like.
