Peel the kohlrabi. Cut into very fine slices with the vegetable slicer (mandolin).
For the sauce, finely chop the sun-dried tomatoes and the basil leaves and put them together with the olive oil, vinegar and spices in a narrow, tall container in which you can mix with a hand blender. Add enough water to make a creamy sauce.
Alternately layer the kohlrabi slices and sauce on top of each other on the plates. As a main course it is enough for 2, as a starter for 4 people.
