Cut the smoked pork into small pieces. Cut the cabbage into narrow strips. Heat the oil in the pan and briefly fry the Kassel pieces.
Add the cabbage and spices and let simmer covered for about 30 minutes on a low heat. Stir every now and then.
In the meantime, heat the water and cook the pasta until it is firm to the bite 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time and then drain. Add the sour cream to the cabbage pan and stir. Add the pasta, mix well and season to taste before serving.
