Instructions

  1. Shake the elderflower umbels well, do not wash them, put them in a slim, tall container and pour red multivitamin juice over them. Close the jar tightly and let it steep for at least 24 hours. This time is necessary, otherwise the aroma of the elder will not come into its own.
  2. The next day, squeeze out the elderflower umbels well, a few flowers are welcome to fall into the juice, this underlines the taste and can hardly be seen. Add the preserving sugar and citric acid, bring to the boil while stirring and simmer for about 4 minutes.
  3. Immediately fill into jars rinsed with hot water and close tightly. Turn the glasses upside down for about 5 minutes, then turn them back the right way up and let them cool down.
