Bring the red wine (¼ l) to the boil in a saucepan with 225 ml water, add the sugar. Mix the pudding powder with 25 ml of water and add to the boiling wine. Cook a pudding according to the package instructions and then let it cool down, stirring again and again until it cools down.
Whip the cream with the vanilla sugar very stiff, stir carefully into the cooled wine cream and place in the refrigerator.
Tip: This mousse is also suitable for cake fillings and can be prepared the day before.
