Instructions

  1. First fry the ground beef in a pan until crumbly. Add the onion cubes and sweat with translucent. Finally add the garlic. Let the pan cool down a little and, if necessary, pour off the resulting fat.
  2. Now put the pan`s contents into the crock pot. Now add the diced paprika and the dried spices and fill up with the canned tomatoes and the tomato juice. Set to low. The braising time is between 5 and 7 hours, depending on the crock pot.
  3. Approx. 1 hour before the end of the cooking time, stir the rice with the remaining spices and the soup stock powder into the dish.
  4. Season again to taste before serving.
  5. Baguette tastes good with it.
  6. Note: The dish tastes like stuffed peppers in tomato sauce with a side dish of rice - only as a stew. It is very filling and of course tastes even better the next day.
