Put the milk, sugar and rice pudding in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Then set the stove to a low level and simmer the rice pudding for another 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Wrap the pot in a newspaper, then in a wool blanket, and then in the bedspread. After 1 hour stir the rice pudding and wrap it again.
The rice pudding is ready in bed after 1.5 - 2 hours. After 1.5 hours it still has a little bite, after 2 hours it is very soft.
There is also cinnamon and sugar or baked fruit or warm cherries.
