Put on the rice with the water and salt, bring to the boil and let it swell for 15 minutes on the lowest setting.
Finely dice the onions and fry them in a saucepan until golden brown. Add the frozen peas and cook for 5 minutes over low heat with the lid closed. Mix the rice with the peas.
We like Risi Bisi with fried chicken or cream schnitzel.
