Instructions

  1. Cook the rice in plenty of water or vegetable stock until cooked. Fry the minced meat, stirring constantly, without adding any fat (if it starts to take off, add a little water). Mash the garlic and add to the minced meat with spices to taste. Add the peas and carrots (defrosted) and mix. When the vegetables are crisp, add the rice and season again. If you like, you can also add 2 - 3 tablespoons of soy sauce. Chop and fold in the parsley, serve warm.
  2. Canned peas and carrots are of course faster, but the taste is also different. If you like, you can add ketchup to the Risi Bisi, but it doesn`t have to be.
  3. Without minced meat, the Risi Bisi can be used as an accompaniment to meat dishes.
