  1. Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm buttermilk, then add to the flour. Add salt, sugar, egg and quark and knead everything well in a food processor. Shape a loaf of bread from the dough and place in a floured roaster. Moisten the surface with your wet hand and scratch several times across with a knife. Put the lid on and bake the dough immediately - don`t let it rise! The baking time is 70 minutes at 200 ° C top / bottom heat (gas: level 4) on the lower rail. Important - do not open the roaster before the end of the cooking time !!! Tips: Can be changed with diced bacon, fried onions, grated cheese or diced feta cheese. Also sweet with raisins and chopped nuts, then less salt and more sugar if you like.
