Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta in salted water and let it cool.
  2. Put canned tomatoes in a bowl with the juice; Season with salt, pepper, a pinch of sugar, a dash of Tabasco, Worcester sauce, the coarsely chopped basil and balsamic vinegar. Then stir in the olive oil.
  3. Dice the mozzarella or hard cheese and ham, possibly halve the olives and mix everything together with the pasta and the vegetable corn in the tomato marinade.

  5. If the pasta salad is only used as a side dish, e.g. with grilled food, you can omit the ham or sausage. As strange as it sounds, the salad only tastes good with canned tomatoes and not with fresh tomatoes.
