Mix the durum wheat semolina, flour and sugar thoroughly. Peel and core the apples and grate coarsely on the kitchen grater.
Line the bottom of a springform pan with parchment paper. Spread 1/3 of the semolina-flour-sugar mixture in the springform pan. Spread half of the grated apples on top. Spread 1/3 of the semolina mixture on top again and then distribute the second half of the apples. Cover everything with the rest of the semolina, flour and sugar mixture. Finally, evenly cover everything with the sliced butter.
Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for approx. 45 - 60 minutes. The top should turn a good brown.
