Ingredients
- 350 g pork fillet (s)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika powder, sweet
- 1 teaspoon paprika powder, hot
- 0.5 teaspoon ½ pepper, black, ground in the grinder
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds, ground
- 2 tablespoon flour
- 2 onions)
- 1 cup paprika, red, in strips, pickled (glass)
- 1 cup peas, green, frozen
- 1 cup crème fraîche or sour cream
- some Tabasco
- some lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Oil, for frying
Instructions
- Remove the tendons from the meat and cut into thick slices, pressing the slices wide.
- Mix salt, pepper, sweet and hot paprika powder, caraway seeds and flour.
- Turn the meat slices in it. Then fry in hot oil on both sides. Then take it out and keep it warm.
- Slice the onions and fry them in a pan.
- Mix the sour cream with the Tabasco, lemon juice and sugar and add to the pan with the onions.
- Add frozen peas and paprika and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Divide the meat on plates and arrange the vegetables on top.
- Go well with: croquettes or french fries
- Note: pay attention to the good quality of paprika in a glass. The cheap offers often contain very hard paprika strips - that spoils this great dish!
