Clean and core a good kilo of rose hips. Wash the rose hips, boil them with a little water for about 1 hour until they are soft and then strain them through a sieve.
Mix the rose hip butter with the orange juice and add the preserving sugar. Cook the mixture according to the instructions and pour it into the prepared glasses.
Pitting the rose hips is quite time-consuming, but it is worth it. The jam is a wonderful gift for Christmas.
