Instructions

  1. Peel and grate the carrots, apples and ginger. Mix the juice of one orange and lemon juice with the preserving sugar, add the grated fruits and ginger and cook for about five minutes. Puree the whole thing a little and fill into screw-top jars while still hot.
  2. Depending on your taste, you can also add a little grated orange peel before cooking, the jam will then become tart, which many children do not like. In this case, however, be sure to use an untreated orange that has been washed off with hot water and rubbed dry.
