Instructions

  1. Finely dice the tomato and onion, finely chop the chilli peppers. Mix everything with the olive oil, season with salt and let it steep for half an hour.
  2. The rougail should be really spicy and is enjoyed in small quantities with meat and fish dishes.
  3. Rougail can also be prepared with various other vegetables or fruits, simply replace tomatoes with e.g., Mango, apricots or fried eggplant.
