Instructions

  1. The fruits are washed thoroughly and dried and cleaned very well.
  2. They are then placed in a suitable vessel (there are special clay vessels for this) that is not transparent and can be easily closed.
  3. You put the sugar on top and fill up with as much rum that the fruits are covered. Add the vanilla stick.
  4. Every 14 days (or once a month) you add a type of fruit with half the amount of sugar and pour high-proof rum.
  5. The last fruits are added in October and then the pot is left to rest until December.
  6. The taste is incomparable and the fruits taste good on ice, pudding or with pan-fried foods
