Instructions

  1. For the dough, mix the flour with cocoa and baking powder and sift into a mixing bowl. Add sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs and butter. Work through the ingredients with the dough hook of the hand mixer first on the lowest, then on the highest level. Then knead into a smooth dough on the floured work surface. Roll out 2/3 of the dough on a greased baking sheet (30 x 40 cm). Place a baking frame around it.
  2. For the filling, mix the quark, sugar, vanilla sugar, pudding powder and eggs with the whisk of the hand mixer. Stir in the melted butter, mix everything into a uniform mass, spread over the dough and smooth out.
  3. Pluck the remaining dough into small pieces and spread over the filling. Put the baking sheet in the oven and bake at top / bottom heat 170 ° C (preheated), hot air 150 ° C (not preheated), gas level 3 (preheated) for about 45 minutes.
  4. Variation: The cake becomes fruity with a thin layer of cranberries on the bottom.
