  1. Wash and clean the lettuce - drain well or, even better, use a salad spinner.
  2. Divide into bite-sized pieces and cut the mozzarella and tomato into small cubes.
  3. Mix 3 tablespoons of oil and vinegar with approx. 1 tablespoon of water, season well with salt and pepper, add 1/2 teaspoon of mustard, add 1 pinch of sugar. Mix in the salad herbs and season with Maggi to taste.
  4. Add half of the mozzarella and tomato cubes to the sauce and let it steep for a short time (approx. 1 minute). Then add the lettuce and mix well. Finally, peel the egg and divide it with the egg cutter - done!
  5. Fresh ciabatta or baguette tastes great with it, be it as a main course, but also as an accompaniment to meat / poultry, for example!
  6. Instead of tomatoes you can of course also use red peppers - there are no limits to your imagination.
