They are prepared simply, and there are a lot of cooking options. Such festive salads always look bright and beautiful, and they are eaten first.

Instructions

  1. Boil the chicken fillet with bay leaves and allspice until cooked. Hard-boil the eggs. Cool both.
  2. Cut the onion and mushrooms into small cubes. Fry in vegetable oil, season with salt and pepper. Cool.
  3. Scald the prunes with boiling water, pat dry and finely chop. Reserve 2 pieces for decoration.
  4. Cut the boiled chicken fillet into small cubes.
  5. Layer the salad: Layer 1 – prunes with a drizzle of mayonnaise; Layer 2 – chicken fillet with a drizzle of mayonnaise.
  6. Layer 3 – fried mushrooms and onions, generously covered with mayonnaise.
  7. Separate the egg yolks from the whites. Grate yolks on a fine grater and arrange into the face of Santa Claus.
  8. Grate the egg whites on a coarse grater to form the beard and hat.
  9. Use reserved prunes for eyes and tomato (or red bell pepper) for the nose and hat trim. Serve chilled.
