Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet.
Meanwhile, cut the salmon into small pieces. Fry briefly in a little oil until it`s cooked through. Watch out, that happens pretty quickly. Add creme fraîche and about 1/3 cup of cream and stir. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add fresh, finely chopped basil. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
Serve with the pasta and sprinkle with parmesan (preferably freshly grated).
Tip: add a small dash of lemon juice to the sauce! Brings a slightly creamy, fresh taste.
