- Heat the condensed milk with the cream caramels in a saucepan (do not boil). Add sugar and salt and stir until the candies have melted.
- Add the rum only after it has cooled down. Pour the liqueur into a bottle. Makes approx. 800 - 1000 ml of liqueur.
- Tips: You can also prepare the liqueur with vodka, I personally like it better with rum.
- Instead of condensed milk you can also use cream or milk, with cream the liqueur becomes thicker and with milk it is a little more watery.
- Always a good gift and is perfect for a girls` evening.
