For the festive New Year’s table, you can prepare an appetizing snack in the form of an indispensable attribute of Santa Claus – a bag of gifts. To do this, we will make thin pancakes, and then fill them with a hearty filling of chicken, rice and vegetables.
We prepare all the necessary ingredients. Boil the chicken (any parts) in salted water in advance, cool, separate the meat from the bones. We wash the rice, boil, cool.
Preparing pancake dough. First, beat eggs with salt and sugar.
Pour warm milk into the resulting egg mass.
Add flour in portions and immediately begin to intensively mix the dough with a whisk. Finally, pour vegetable oil into the pancake dough.
Preheat the pan for baking pancakes well. Lubricate it with oil. We collect the pancake dough with a ladle and distribute it over the surface of the pan.
Fry thin pancakes until golden brown on both sides. Put the finished pancakes in a pile.
For the filling, finely chop the boiled chicken meat.
Grate the carrots and finely chop the onion. Fry vegetables in vegetable oil. Add boiled rice and sauteed vegetables to the chicken.
We mix. Add some mayonnaise and chopped fresh herbs.
Put the prepared filling in the center of the pancake.
Tie the pancake with chicken and rice in the shape of a bag, using green onions (you can also use pigtail cheese for this).
