Take the sardine fillets out of the tin and let them drain, pour away the oil and arrange the fillets on a plate. Cut the untreated lemon into fine slices and finely chop the garlic. Mix the lemon juice with the olive oil and the chopped garlic, pour over the sardines and grind with a little pepper. Serve the fish with the lemon wedges and the chopped parsley and serve with crispy white bread.
Tip: If you let the sardines steep a little before serving, they`ll taste even better.
