Instructions

  1. Wash the lentils. Cover just under water in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Cook for 10 minutes, then reduce the heat and simmer covered for about 15 minutes until the lentils are cooked through.
  2. In the meantime, briefly blanch the savoy cabbage leaves, rinse and drain.
  3. Steam the onion rings in oil. When they turn lightly brown, add the sugar. Continue to cook, stirring, until the onions are caramelized. Add to the lentils and season with lemon juice and zest, salt and pepper.
  4. Fill the savoy cabbage leaves with the lentil mixture and place the roulades in a baking dish. Drizzle with a little olive oil.
  5. Cook in a hot oven at 180 ° C top / bottom heat for about 20-25 minutes until they are lightly browned.
