Clean the savoy cabbage and cut into large pieces, peel the apple and cut into pieces. Slice the carrots and dice the onion.
Heat the oil, leave out the bacon for a moment and add the onion. After 3 minutes add honey, carrots and the apple pieces, after another 3 minutes the savoy cabbage. Now simmer gently in the closed pot.
In between pour in the vegetable stock and add a little salt and pepper. When the savoy cabbage begins to collapse, stir once.
At the end of the cooking time, remove the lid and continue cooking until the liquid has boiled away.
Add the cream and season again with salt and pepper.
Tastes very good with pork tenderloin. I like it very much without any additional side dish.
