Instructions

  1. Cut the onion into small pieces. Peel the potatoes and cut into bite-sized pieces. Cut the savoy cabbage into strips. Let the rolls soak in warm water. Mix the minced meat with the egg and the soft bun in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Please wring out the bread well beforehand.
  2. Sweat the onion in a little butter in a large saucepan. Add the potatoes, add a little salt and simmer on a medium heat. Spread the minced meat on top of the potatoes as a flatbread.
  3. Now the savoy cabbage is placed on top. If it is too much, wait a moment for the savoy cabbage to sag while cooking. Then put the rest of the savoy cabbage on top.
  4. Make sure that the stove setting is not set too high, the potatoes must of course not burn. One should choose an intermediate level.
  5. Very important, leave everything in layers in the pot and do not stir! Now it has to simmer for about 30 minutes with the lid on. If a little too much water has accumulated from the savoy cabbage, remove the lid and continue to simmer until the liquid has evaporated.
  6. Finally, everything can be mixed carefully. The longer you stir, the smaller the chopped will be. Add salt and pepper to taste.
